sRGB

sRGB: The color space sRGB refers to the color representation of cathode rayroar, i.e. standard monitors and televisions. As well as DVD and Ycbcr, as well as the digital NTSC sRGB is usually used as the color space. conventional LCD and plasma screens are based on the sRGB color space for color representation, although LCDs in particular are hardly able to fill them out.

With the increased quality and size of the display and projector image, attempts are being made to enlarge the physical Resolution (detail=fineness), the fineness of the color coding (color depth= nuance) also to establish the expansion of the color space (colors that can be represented at all). So be with xv YCC much richer and more intense colors possible.
