YCC

YCC: YCC is an acronym consisting of Y, which stands for luminance (brightness) and made up of 2 times C, where the C stands for color, ie color. YCC is a color model consisting of a lightness channel (Y) and two color channels (C). The type of color representation of YCC is based on the consideration that the human eye perceives differences in brightness better than differences in color, which is why only two color channels are used, but a separate brightness channel. A further development of YCC is xv YCC (see xvYCC).
