MP3 SX

MP3 SX: MP3 SX is intended to provide a sonically stable reproduction of stereo-Enable material in multi-channel sound as well as the perception of singers and solo instruments in an enlarged sweet spot area. The MP3 family was developed with the "Stereo eXtended" version by the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits in cooperation with Thomson at the end of 2005. On average, a surround MP3 file is about 20% larger than a conventional stereo MP3.
