THX Select: Describes a version of the THX Home standard in which the requirements have been reduced (mainly for cost reasons) and which is suitable for smaller rooms of up to 30 square meters (with a room height of 2,50 m). The original high requirements were met with the introduction of THX Select in THX Ultra (see THX-Ultra) and will continue to apply to high-quality components.
