DTS HD High Resolution

DTS HD High Resolution: Denotes the weakened variant of DTS-HD masters. Although it offers support for eight audio channels just like its big brother, it is in return for the Data rate weaker (up to 6 Mbit/s at Blu-ray discs in fixed or variable data rates). In both cases, however, the information of the DTS-HD High Resolution audio track is saved in a lossy manner. It can be played back via HDMI from version 1.3, but if this is not the case it will be downgraded from 7.1 to 5.1.
