DFP: Does not designate a party, but a not very common port standard (connection option). DFP does not transmit analog image signals and can support a maximum Resolution of 1280×1024 pixel achieve (SXGA). The connector has 20 contacts and goes by the name MDR20. The DVI-Standard technically uses the same protocol for signal transmission as DFP.
However, due to the low resolution, it can be assumed that this port standard will not last long - even if it has never really made its breakthrough so far.
