comb filter: To two signals (see Signal), e.g. B. chrominance (color) and luminance (brightness) to send over a carrier, the frequencies are intertwined. The comb filter is used to separate these frequencies from a signal stream during reception. Poor quality comb filters can cause color streaks or moirés in the video image. Comb filters are mostly digital.
