BAS signal: The picture blanking synchronousSignal designates the complete television signal for black-and-white picture transmission, which is made up of the picture signal (B), the blanking signal (A) and the synchronization signal (S). In the color image transmission comes accordingly CVBS (color BAS) or CVBS (Colour Video Baseband Signal), which also contains the color information.
