A water cooling set for the PC consists of the following parts:
1. A radiator: This is where the heat emitted by the processor or graphics card is dissipated.
2. A pump: The pump ensures that the coolant remains in circulation and that the heat is transported from the radiator to the processor or graphics card.
3. A coolant: Distilled water is normally used as a coolant. It is important that there are no minerals in the water, otherwise they can deposit on the metal parts of the water cooler and block the circuit.
4. Hoses: The hoses connect the individual parts of the water cooling system to each other.
5. Heatsinks: The heatsinks are placed on the processor or graphics card and ensure that the heat is dissipated by the coolant.
6. Fans: The fans are optional and are only required if the radiator is not sufficiently cooled.
