Passive Radiator: In loudspeaker technology, an additional woofer membrane without its own magnet or vibration - therefore "passive" - which serves as an extension of the primary active woofer. This technique works in a similar way to the bass reflex channel and is used to increase the sound pressure of the low frequencies and thus to generate a "rich" bass.
