Passive crossover

Passive crossover: Also passive crossover. Electronic component used to divide the frequency spectrum into different frequency ranges, e.g. B. bass, midrange, tweeter range is used. Passive - as opposed to active - because the operation is performed without the support of an amplifier output stage. Passive crossovers are mostly used in loudspeakers. The quality of the loudspeaker largely depends on the design of this component, which varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
