Laser TV

Laser TV: A television developed by Mitsubishi, which conventional Plasma- And LCD-TV is superior. There Laser-TVs can display twice as many colors as other types of flat screen TVs, resulting in unprecedented color brilliance, clarity and color depth. Furthermore, the power consumption of laser TVs is lower than that of LCD or plasma devices. Laser TVs are also thinner and lighter than other flat screen TVs.

The laser televisions are constructed like the well-known rear projection models. Instead of the conventional lighting with projection lamps, an array of laser diodes is used as the light source. These produce the colors red, green and blue. It remains to be seen whether this technology will prevail.
