Waterfall Analysis: The waterfall analysis is based, just like that impulse response, on a (theoretically) infinitely short (needle) input pulse. Characteristic of such an impulse is that it excites the loudspeaker over its entire frequency transmission range. In this way, the height of the amplitude (the sound pressure) over the entire frequency range of the loudspeaker and display it graphically in a corresponding diagram (see also frequency response).
