LEDE: The LEDE principle (Live End Dead End) describes the room acoustic design of a listening room in which one wall surface is designed to be acoustically absorbing and diffusing and the opposite wall surface is reflective. The surface opposite the listening position should be absorbent, while the one behind the listener should be reflective.
