hybrid speaker

hybrid speaker: Fusion of the open and closed design in loudspeakers. Hybrid speakers usually have one Floodlights and one woofer. In doing so, they combine two different transducer principles in a sensible manner: that of the loudspeaker chassis and that of the panel radiator. A panel radiator and a woofer are usually installed. The woofer takes over the lower octaves (see octave), since a surface radiator does not come “that far down”.
