D/A converter: A component in digital devices. The Encoder (see encoder) converts the analog original signals during recording and storage, such as the image and the Ton, into a digital data stream, whereby data reduction is used in different forms. Finally, the D/A converter converts the digital signals (see Signal) back into analog vibrations, ie into the signals that can be perceived by humans.
