Full-HD

Full-HD: Award for devices (television, DVD-Player, ...), which is the highest possible HDResolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The term "True-HD" is also popular in specialist shops, but it is only used for advertising purposes (e.g. for Dolby's sound format "Dolby TrueHD") and is absolutely identical to the properties of Full-HD. A device with an "HD Ready logo" is able to display about half the full resolution (1280 x 720 pixel).
