FPS

FPS: The expression "frames per second" is a technical term from film and video technology. Translated into German, it stands for "frames per second" and is a measure of the frame rate. Based on the respective number, for example 18fps or 25fps, it can be read how many images are loaded (for computer applications) or played (for film and video recordings) in one second. The human eye perceives 16 to 18 consecutive images per second as a moving scene. The usual frame rate for cinema films is 24 fps.
