DVB-T

DVB-T: "Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial" refers to the terrestrial distribution of digital television signals in the atmosphere. DVB-T has become the standard for the transmission of digital television and radio via antenna in many Asian and African countries. However, DVB-T is not called DVB-T in every country: In Ireland, for example, it is known under the term "Digital Terrestrial Television" (DTT), and in France under "Télévision Numérique Terrestre" (TNT).

To receive DVB-T, you need a digital receiver or television with an integrated DVB-TTuner, with weak reception also an active receiving antenna for signal amplification. There are also small antennas for notebooks that are connected via USB 2.0. Older notebooks with USB 1.1 ports require a special plug-in card with MPEG2Decoder.
