frame rate

frame rate: This unit is in Hz (see Hertz) and indicates how often an image is rebuilt in one second. The electric beam starts in the top one row to the picture tube and then writes his picture line by line on the picture tube until he has reached the bottom line. At PAL (see PAL) a frame is built up 50 times per second (50 Hz), at NTSC (see NTSC) 60 times per second. Also in the new ones HDTVstandards (see HDTV) nothing has changed here.
